Great location with great staff in an amazing city”
Our flight was delayed and I was concerned about the check in procedure, I emailed the hotel and promptly recieved a very polite and helpful response. Upon arrival at the hotel around midnight there was a very helpful polite gentleman attending the front desk who fortunately for us spoke excellent English. He informed us we had been allocated a complimentary upgrade to our room which was a pleasant surprise. We was on the 13th floor with a great view and a beautiful large twin room with additional guest room including guest bathroom as well as the main bathroom. There was a small kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave, hobs, kettle, washing machine / dryer and stocked with tea and coffee along with cups, plates, cutlery and glasses. The room had air-conditioning controls for 2 zones which was great. We had 2 tvs (one in the living room area with sofa, coffee table and dining table and one in the bedroom). A nice bose music / media system was also in place and the bedroom featured a desk with ethernet connection and sockets etc for Laptops. WiFi was free throughout the hotel and ran at high speed consistently. Both bathrooms were well stocked with toothbrushes, razors, soaps and conditioners, cotton sets and towels and of course a superb toto toilet. For the price we paid (which also included breakfast) I personally feel like I got the best deal going for a room that well equipped and serviced in Tokyo considering how much I paid. From my own personal experience I can say I would most definitely stay there again. Close to both okubo and shin okubo train stations all of tokyo is easily within reach. A great grocery store lies beneath the building selling all you'll need to accommodate your stay and you'll find many restatements and shops within a minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and hygienic. I would highly recommend anyone looking to visit Tokyo to try out the Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku hotel.

Comfortable, friendly, and very clean”
We were silly enough to not take the Narita Express from the airport. So when we finally arrived at Ueno, we had no clue how to find our way to Okubo (where Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku is located). Don't let the name fool you, it is not in Shinjuku. It is only 1-2 JR stations away (yamanote line - green) from Shinjuku or a 20 minute walk to Shinjuku (its a nice walk, just down one street). Okubo is a very nice place. Streets are narrow, quiet, and clean. Plenty of places to choose to eat from (all with vending machines with pictures and above all else, CHEAP). The room was comfortable. Probably the largest of all the hotels we stayed at throughout Osaka and Kyoto. The room was smoke-free. Toilet was spacious. Bed was hard not soft, and was great to sleep on. TV had english channels to choose from. Should you require internet, you can go to the lobby to access their wifi. You will need to get the access passwords from the conceirge. Conceige were helpful and were compentent with English. The bed and bathroom were made up everyday.

Family of 2 children, 2 adults, and 2 seniors.”
Our second stay at Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku, and still as impressive as ever, even for our large group of 6 (2 children, 2 adults, 2 elders). The location is wonderful, the neighbourhood feels safe, 2 JR stations within very close proximity allowed us to travel everywhere we wanted to go. The area is bustling with convenience stores, local grocery stores, cafés, dessert shops, various japanese and other ethnic restaurants, and possibly everything you could possibly need. Although our booking was made through Agoda, but as we needed to add an extra night to our booking, I first contacted the hotel to check about availability for an earlier check-in and received a swift and helpful reply from the staff, which - once followed through with Agoda Customer Service - was all resolved very quickly and efficiently. Our suite consisted of 2 bedrooms - a larger one with 4 beds, and a smaller one with 2 futons - which was spacious and more than enough for our family. The Suite also had 2 separate toilets, a lovely and relatively spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, and the 2 wash basins in an adjoining room was extremely useful for our group. The Suite also had a moderately sized living area with a large dining table, and a mini kitchen area that was well equipped with all the necessary cooking and dining equipment we could have required. Also, very fortunately, the unit was equipped with a washing-drying machine that was certainly handy. Check-in and check-out was effortless and fast, the staff were all very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The unit was well stocked with all the amenities and extremely prepared for us upon our arrival, and was continually kept clean and restocked daily, so that we never had to make additional requests for extra supplies of anything (drinking water, towels, etc). The management had also provided an instruction manual for the operation of all equipment in the unit, which was also very handy for us when we decided

HARD TO FIND...”
My wife and I frequently travel on business so we were excited to have a free night in Tokyo together. I booked Hundred Stay because of the good location and the price, and also because of the declining quality of the other hotel I used previously around Shinjuku. To reach the hotel you have to cross the street, go around the corner, and you will find the nondescript entrance tucked behind an Italian Family restaurant.. If you are not paying attention like me you will miss it. Many thanks to the local people who assisted in tracking this down. Once inside it resembled a normal hotel lobby. There is a secure entrance to the elevator bank just past the desk with helpful and courteous staff (whose English is very good). The facility was recently renovated with clean and tasteful décor. Bathrooms are large by Tokyo standards and have amenities supplied. Beds were fresh and comfortable. There are several dining choices available within a block or two of the hotel. We had pasta and seafood at a little Italian bistro and even found a cozy jazz club with live performances where we had cocktails. We had a simple breakfast at the first floor buffet. Checkout was effortless. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious stay at a surprisingly affordable price.

Clean modern hotel away from the crowds”
i had a great stay at hundred stay tokyo shinjuku. the staff are fluent in basic english and the rooms are clean and most importantly, larger than most tokyo rooms for that economical price. even though it is one stop away from shinjuku station, i would value the location as a plus point as it is quieter and less crowded compared with the areas near the main station but yet it is convenient to get to the main activity areas. trains run very frequently between okubo and shinjuku station on the chuo-sobu lines. will not hesitate to stay there again.

Will definitely choose to stay here in my nexttrip”
This is the fifth time that I have travel to Toyko. The reason why I choose hundred stay is just wanna close to Shinjuku to have more shopping. Hundred stay is in a prefect location just a 2mins walk to Okubo station, if u wish to go to Shibuya in 山手線, this is also just a 6mins walk to Shin Okubo station. The hotel have a famous udon restaurant downstairs in a very afforable price and also a 24 tesco supermarket just near by this. The Hotel room is big, the bed is very comfortable . And the view is amazing!! (can see the skytree)!! Also, the staff in Hundred can speak native English. For the breakfast, not that much choose as some hotel in Bangkok. But still, it's delicious. They have 3type of toast in Chocolate, butter and also other favour, but I forgot it alreadyXD They also have yogurt and so drink provide. Only one thing make is disappointed is about the wifi service.. I bring my travel router to plug in the LAN in My room. However, it didn't work. Try to go to the lobby to have a public wifi, but I still didn't connect. Anyway, I will say regarding on the price, I will definitely stay here again in my next trip. *

Excellent! ”
Perfect location very near Okubo and Shin Okubo stations, great staff, breakfast, huge rooms with kitchenette, microwave, etc., separate toilet and bath.. Well stocked bathroom amenities, coffee, tea in the room.. One of the staff, Mr. Konno, was very helpful in facilitating the transfer of our luggage from this hotel in Shinjuku straight to our hotel in Osaka. In fact our 4pc luggage were waiting for us already in our room when we arrived. (I recommend this luggage service to travelers going to and from Osaka-Tokyo for hassle free transfers in trains or buses.) Good job, Hundred Stay! We will stay here again when in Shinjuku!

Great location. Perfect for our family. Can’t wait to come back. ”
The Hundred Stay is in a great location with very easy train access. We had flown into Haneda and it’s an easy commute using to Tokyo Monorail then an easy change to the Yamamote Line to JR16. It’s a few minute walk from the station. Having a refrigerator was great for all of us. There are many places to buy groceries including a Don Quijote which my boys loved for making breakfast or a late night snack after being out all day. One stop away at Shinjuku Station is a huge shopping mall with the most unbelievable basement food area you’ve ever seen. It’s a must visit. Everyone at the Hundred Stay was great. Check-in was quick. Room was clean and serviced daily. Contained all we needed for cooking (didn’t do to much) and had a refrigerator/freezer which were in constant use. Would not hesitate to stay here again which we hope to do again next summer.

Phenomenal hotel!”
Amazing stay. Location was near 3 stations (shinjuku being the biggest) with easy access anywhere in Tokyo. Great places to eat nearby, cool places to see within walking distance, pubs, shops, transit. Out of all the wards we visited shinjuku was the best overall. People say we should stay in roppongi but it's filled with Nigerians hustling you to strip clubs, ginza is overly expensive, shibuya is nice but often lacks attractions, eateries, shinjuku has it all. The hotel had a small but plentiful breakfast, amazing staff that spoke English well, they made us reservations for Fugu and helped with tips and tricks on where to go. The rooms were much bigger than any hotel for a similar (or even more expensive) price and were extremely clean and Had lots of extra goodies. Showers were the best I've ever had in a hotel room. Will stay there again next time I'm in Tokyo (which I'm already planning)

NO1 hotel choice in downtown Tokyo”
Graet experience staying in Hundred Stays Hotel. This hotel got everything you need for your traveling. Unlike other luxury or expensive hotel in Tokyo, Hundred Stays Hotel room size is much more comfortable for a couple or family to stay. It is very clean and the hotel facility is good. Even it has Microwive, frige, and laundry machine in the room, so it is a perfect hotel selection for visitors or business man who will stay in Tokyo more than 5 days. Moreover, there is a convenience store right on the 1F of this hotel building and tons of restaurants in its neighborhood. 2~3 mins walking distance from hotel to city train station. It is my NO1 hotel choice in downtown Tokyo.

Can't be better”
We got an upgrade to a premium room. The views were just amazing. Our stay at Hundred Stay was great. - Room: very large for the japanese standard. I would say the room had around 25sq meters. Comfortable bed with a couple of pillows per person, nice views, spacious bathroom, many towels (including a bath robe), indoor shoes, large wardrobes, free tea & coffe, small fridge, sound system. - Cleanliness: Very clean. The only con is that they clean once every three days due to an eco plan. That was fine with us. - Staff: We did not have too much contact with them because we didn't need (the less you need them the better your stay!). At the arrival they were very friendly, they upgraded us and provided clear instructions in english. At departure they also were very friendly and even opened us a staff back door that was a shortcut because we were heading to the train station with heavy luggage. - Location: Quite ok. It is located in the korean district, very close to okubo station (JR pass is ok) and 500 m to Shin-okubo train statin (JR pass valid). Shinjuku is 15 min walk. Many restaurants around and shops. - Breakfast: Acceptable. People say that it's very poor and bla bla bla. Comeon, its Japan! what did you expect? Japanase do not eat continental breakfasts. And this is fine to be continental. You have coffee, milk, juices, croisants, toasts, sausages, marmalade, yoghourt with tasty fruit, cereals... not enough? - Gym: small but fine. Two running belts, bike, weights... Japanese do not make sports, so finding a small gym in this hotel was a nice surprise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone !!!

Wished to Have Stayed Longer”
Surrounding: Due to an impromptu trip, there wasn't much choice within the desirable walking distance of a train station. Hundred Stay was like 5 min from Jr Chuo Line - Okubo station, which is just 1 station away from Shinjuku (narita express, shinkansen to various destinations, special train to nikko and mt fuji). It can be reached by Jr yamanote line - shin Okubo station in about 10 min (depending on individual). You wouldn't get bored walking that stretch too as there are lots of convenience store, drug (not that kind of bad drug) store and RESTAURANTS! We ended up always heading back okubo for food. There is even a supermarket just at the corner of the hotel and nice cheap western meal. Room: Nice Clean New building with good security. You need to tap once outside when it's past curfew, before you enter elevator and your room. Big room with big bathroom, automated toilet bowl, hot shower with spacious bathtub. Kitchen with all utensils, stove, microwave oven, kettle and wine glass. Big bed, pillow is abit soft though, nice view. Breakfast was various bread ham sausage cheese and yogurt, with a coffee machine and other drinks. They do room cleaning every 3 days, but if you stay long in one place, you tend to be neater so it doesn't bother us. Suggestion: coffee cups in room should be change to something that does not conduct heat that much and should provide firm and soft pillow to choose. Would love to stay there again definitely!

First time in Japan”
Amazing hotel situated right next to Okubo station (only one stop from Shinjuku). Italian style restaurant on the side of the hotel open until 2am, supermarket next door and loads of other shops and cafes conveniently located. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Super clean rooms with everything you could want. Fridge, air con, widescreen TV, kettle, lovely view, Bose sound system and fancy toilet. Most importantly the shower was great; nice and powerful. Only negative I can think of is the breakfast, which is very very basic. Toast, jam, cornflakes, Chinese porridge, cheese and a coffee machine. Quite frankly that didn't bother me as you can get anything you wanted nearby either at a cafe or supermarket cheaply enough. Overall highly recommend the Hundred Stay and would definitely stay there again when I go back to Tokyo.

Loved our stay!”
Had a great time exploring Tokyo and we love our stay at Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku. Appreciate their effort of putting an extra bed for my 4 year old for free! Good size room and clean toilet & bath! Although, not to many options for breakfast, it’s good enough to power you up. It’s very near Okubo station, about 3 mins walk. Lots of resturants nearby and grocery store just below the hotel. Overall amazing trip and stay!

Dear Camille san Thank you for having stayed our hotel and posted reviews. Clean, comfortable”
We are a traveling married couple. The Hundred Stay Tokyo was one of the best parts of our time in Japan! We stayed for two nights but ended up loving our stay so much that we regretted that we had not booked for longer! The rooms and bath area are large (by Tokyo standards), clean, and well-kept. The continental breakfast provided every morning is nothing fancy, but it definitely gets the job done, and is much better than most meals provided at backpacker-style hotels/guesthouses. If you like to work out when you travel, you won’t be disappointed with the fitness area here – it is clean, well-equipped, and not just some old treadmill stuck in a converted janitor’s closet, as many “gyms” at budget hotels are. Wi-Fi is not available hotel-wide, but it is available in the lobby/breakfast area. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Shin-Okubo Station, which is one stop from the touristy area of Shinjuku. The walk to/from the subway station ended up being a great thing, as it allowed us to discover small local ramen shops on our way home after a long day out sightseeing.

Dear Anna-san Thank you very much or your stay and your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Amenities are prepared to all rooms equally which you do not need to bring by yourselves. As you have mentioned, we serve continental buffet style breakfast which is very simple, with a few Japanese foods provided to try for the first time. Thank you very much again and we all look forward to welcoming you soon:) Best Regards, Front Desk
A pleasant stay near the heart of Tokyo ”
The hotel is located one station from Shinjuku. Very convenient location, but very private and quiet since it's not exactly in the city center. The room is spacious by Tokyo standard. With amenity and equipment for long stay. The staff are nice and can communicate with us just fine. There's an Italian restaurant just a few minutes walk from the hotel and it open til very late (2AM in the morning) and also a supermarket and convenient store near-by. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at Hundred Stay Shinjuku.

Adjacency to Tokyo Metro City”
I would say that the best hotel we have had in Tokyo was this Hundred Stay Apartment service : 1. The location is in the prime Shinjuku area, only 3 minutes walk from OKUBO JR Line (Sobu or Chou,Line). and only 15 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station - Next to the hotel there is AEON supermarket which open up to 12pm, there is also AEON Foods Convenience store open 24hours, adn there is Italian restaurant next to the hotel 2. Clean and spaciuos room, we choosed the triple bedroom and surprisingly the amenities were very complete, we could do our laundry as there is washing machine at the room. they gave us the city view and it was amazing 3. Compare to other hotel in tokyo, i would highly recommend this hotel for family trip as it spacious room and great location
