Overall was ok, but they should really work on their wifi. Very weak signal in the room, we had to go to the bar often to get a stable connection. Food is excellent!

It was a nice and relaxing stay.
clean, location, decent comfort

overall, we were happy with our stay. Was a bit apprehensive of the noise in the evening, but it was not as bad as we feared. We arranged our airport transport through the hotel and was really disappointed to have a really old car with aircon that was barely working fetching us to the airport. It was stuffy and uncomfortable.

Family-perfect, budget-friendly beach getaway!

Our family immensely enjoyed our stay at Alona Vida Beach Resort.
The room we stayed in was comfortable, the bathroom was satisfactory.
The housekeeper made sure it was cleaned every day during our 4-day stay there and
we were given fresh towels on a daily basis as well.
The food may be a bit pricey but the taste and portion justify the cost.
My kids loved that the swimming pool, although small,was just a few steps away
from the room.
We loved that we could eat breakfast right on the beach.
One area for improvement would be the shower curtains in the room. Longer curtains will help lessen splash of water outside the shower area.

The hotel is in a good location
Close to the ocean and there is a dive shop attached if you are into diving.

This hotel is right on the beach however on arrival we had to drag our cases through various restaurants for about 200 meters to get to the hotel as there is no drop off close to it. The menu is typical beach BBQ like the rest however I would expect my fish to be scaled before it comes to the table!! Breakfast is 3 set menus and when I asked for a fruit platter which is on their menu they could not accommodate that - noting but the set menu which is not particularly a healthy breakfast so we did not eat there again. The rooms were nice and the cleaning staff were friendly however the front desk reception staff were very disinterested in assisting too much. We had to ask for someone to come to do a room orientation eg. how the safe works - no instructions there!!

Nice 3 star hotel

We were pretty happy with the location of the hotel as it was very near to the beach and stores. We liked the space of the room and it was very clean. However, the superior room could use a bigger air conditioner since it took quite a while to make the room cool. Their food was a bit pricey for it's taste. We ordered buttered shrimp from the grill and it lacked the taste of garlic and butter. Their shakes were great though. I loved their choco banana and strawberry vanilla milkshake.
Overall, a good experience.

Relaxing vacation
it has beach front, there's a swimming pool for the kids, its easy to arrange tour

Our stay in Alona Vida was fun. My children enjoy the swimming in the pool, though the beach has white sand some portion of the beach has rocks but the latter part is smooth. The food is a bit pricey.
